The moment anyone learns of the power of chemicals in inducing action into organisms the first question that strikes the minds of women is can there be pheromones for men too? If only women could simply spray some chemical on themselves so that their boyfriends or husbands would do as they say, that would be life. Unfortunately, such thoughts have to stay back in the far corners of the mind because there is nothing powerful enough to overpower the will and consciousness of a human being. Chemicals may induce feelings in a human, modify the response ever so slightly but it cannot make one obey orders or commands.
These science fiction theories are better off in the movies because in real life it would mean total anarchy and lawlessness. Imagine a world ruled by pheromones and you can get the picture of how easy it would be to control populations and societies on a global scale.
